Content-based Image Retrieval Using Scale-Space Object Trees

My PhD investigated how the tree structures generated when performing scale-space decomposition of images could be used to provide content-based matching of objects within images. The idea was that the tree structures could be matched for both content and structure thereby giving a more accurate match for objects with strong layout features.
