Day 11 - 13th October 2003 - Palma de Mallorca
When we woke up we were in Palma. Our late nights socialising were catching up on us and we were beginning to oversleep, so it's lucky we didn't have a tour today. We stepped off the boat and caught one of the P&O shuttles into the town. From there we explored the old town walking through high, narrow streets and marvelling at the enormous cathedral. We got back to the ship in time for the chocoholic's buffet and the galley walkthrough. The ship sailed for Gibraltar early evening as we headed up to the casual Café Bordeaux for a spot of dinner with our table-mates.

Palma cathedral, la Seo, is an impressive piece of architecture.

We sat by this pretty fountain in the cathedral grounds.

Another picture of the cathedral grounds.

This is the view from the café we stopped at for lunch.

Horse and carriage rides are available around the streets.

This was someone's pretty little courtyard that we happened to spot on our walk.

These bizarre shadows near the church made an awesome photo

These pretty flowers were in bloom all around the cathedral

The galley walkthrough showed us the large kitchens on the ship.

The chocoholics buffet was an amazing spread of which we chose these...

...and scoffed the lot!

The ship sailed from Palma early evening, just after the QE2.

What shall we have to eat tonight?
