About FactoBrunt and Daisy

Daisy and I live on the South Coast of the UK.

I’m FactoBrunt and I habitually talk in spoonerisms. One day I would love to move to a quiet, rural location and keep animals and grow vegetables. I am a researcher at a university and have been learning the ropes of smallholding in our small garden, while also trying to do a number of jobs on-the-side, learn violin, bake, take photos and a number of other hobbies.

Daisy organises exams for an adult education centre. She likes to read and eat the things I bake. However, her favourite hobby is sleeping. She has skeletal dysplasia, which means her hips are a bit dodgy and often hurt, but she still enjoys dancing salsa and ballroom with me and often puts up with me being all eco-friendly and insisting we go places on the bike.

We both try to live organic, eco-friendly lives to minimise our impact on the planet.

    Hi there,

I noticed that your blog is written in Dorset. My name is Claire Price and I produce the BBC website for Dorset (www.bbc.co.uk/dorset) I’m interested in doing a piece about bloggers in the county – could you let me know if you are based here permanently, and if so, whether I could interview you next week. My email is claire.price@bbc.co.uk – I’m back in the office on Tuesday 9th January.

    Many thanks,
    Claire
